Rising FMs and principal sponsor G4S FM are pleased to announce the 2012 Careers Day event for Facilities Management. Come along to hear from Rising FMs SIG, BIFM, Asset Skills and Industry Professionals about the progress that has been made over the past year in efforts to close "The Skills Gap". Attendees can choose between activities. There will be skills workshops running throughout the afternoon as well as information stands from recruiters, employers and training providers in the main hall.

The Rising FM’s special interest group had been established since 2007. Working to promote Facilities Management as a career of choice the Group are focused at potential, new and existing participants within the facilities management profession. Here to provide practical careers advise, CPD learning, development and networking opportunities for anyone looking to progress their career within facilities management, regardless of age or experience.
This special interest group is supported by its committee who are dedicated to running regular events aimed at imparting knowledge of facilities management at a level that can easily be understood and implemented. The committee works to engage with members and provide relevant feedback to BIFM as well as giving members the ability to engage with the institute for the future.
Throughout the year Rising FM’s will deliver a core program of CPD events. The core program is enhanced with informative and social networking opportunities.
